I keep reading all the beautiful condolences that people are writing about how much a part of their lives were effected by listening to him over the years.
The Imus Ranch Foundation was formed to donate 100% of all donations previously devoted to The Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer to various other charities whose work and missions compliment those of the ranch. The initial donation from The Imus Ranch Foundation was awarded to Tackle Kids Cancer, a program of The HackensackUMC Foundation and the New York Giants.

Don Imus Leaves a Trail of Way More Than Dust
By Michael Riedel - The one and only time I had a twinge of nerves before appearing on television was when I made my debut in 2011 on “Imus in the Morning” on the Fox Business Channel. I’d been listening to Don Imus, who died Friday at 79, since the 1990s as an antidote the serious (bordering on the pompous) hosts on National Public Radio. I always thought it would be fun to join Imus and his gang — news anchor Charles McCord, producer Bernard McGuirk, comedian Rob Bartlett — in the studio, flinging insults back and forth at one another. And now I had my chance. I was invited on to discuss to discuss “Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark,” the catastrophic Broadway musical that injured cast members daily.
The Vinnie From Queens panel is excited about the Mets, and equally as thrilled that Derek Fisher got his butt whooped by Matt Barnes. Douche of the Week got cut short, but everybody agreed it was Greg Hardy for his idiotic “guns blazing” comment.
The Vinnie panel predicted who would win the World Series. Gunz picked the Yankees, and everybody agreed he couldn’t be more wrong. Similarly, A-Rod was one of the choices in “Who’s The Bigger Douche”, which ultimately went to Carmelo Anthony.
Imus asked the Vinnie From Queens panel what the biggest surprise in the NFL has been so far. Lou said the Jets, but most of the panel said the Bills being 3-0 is the big shocker. Warner is most shocked by the 49ers, saying they’ve hit rock bottom.
In this contentious Vinnie from Queens, Nat decides to call in drunk from Texas. Like always, he’s sticking by the Mets when they play the Yanks in the Subway Series. Gunz thinks the Yanks will sweep, but Tony’s giving this one to the underdog.
Nat Candido is coming down to Texas this week and the I-Man offered him to stay a night at the Ranch. Nat then went on to give the wrong example of a Yankees/Red Sox comeback and Gunz stepped in to call him out. When that happens, it’s pretty bad…
